Together with Henry and his family, we remember the life of Lucille Armstrong. In her memory, Henry’s desire is to start a fund in support of the weekday drop-in at One88 Community Church. Here some of Winnipeg’s most vulnerable find a place of rest, safety, love, and support. Its a place to have a conversation over coffee, be able to tell your story, and be known. The Fund will help operate the drop-in and provide services such as showers, laundry, access to hygiene supplies, and good food.

All monies donated in Lucille’s memory will be designated for use in the weekday drop-in. Donations will receive a charitable-giving receipt at the end of the year. Cheques can be made to “One88 Community Church” and “in memory of Lucille Armstrong” in the memo field*. A note will be passed along to Henry indicating your support in Lucille’s honour.
