We are so grateful for the way people are willing to partner with us at One88. As the end of the year approaches, here are things to consider for your end of the year giving.

For a donation to be included in a 2025 charitable tax receipt, CRA tells us that the donation must be received by Dec 31, 2025.

For electronic donations (PayPal, Square, e-transfer), the transaction needs to happen by Dec 31.

For mailed donations, the envelope must be post-marked Dec 31, 2025 (or earlier). If the envelope is post-marked after Dec 31, the donation is considered to be a 2026 donation, even if the cheque is dated 2025.

If you are dropping off a donation, please note that we are closed from Dec 25 to Jan 4. The donation will need to be deposited by Dec 31, 2025 so please email us and let us know that you have dropped off an envelope or use the same email to make arrangements.
