What is One88?
We are a church community that focuses on being a place where people feel like they belong, particularly those who are often forgotten in our society. Watch this 3 min. video for a glimpse inside our community.
Our Values
Love for Others
2 Corinthians 5.14 says, “For the love of Christ compels us…” We seek to show Christ-like love to others because we are first loved by Jesus. This forms the foundation of all we do.
Hope in Christ
We confess that our hope is found in Jesus. This not only refers to the hope of eternal life but the hope that our present lives can be different; that we are not defined by our addictions or failures. Part of hoping in Christ is being part of Christ’s body, that is the church community. Hope and community go hand-in-hand.
Purpose in Life
We are all made in the image of God, called & gifted to join God in the work that is happening in our world through God’s Spirit. Fullness in life is in seeing yourself as a beloved child of God, finding your place as part of Christ’s family, and together, living well in the power of the Spirit.

Affiliation & Confession of Faith
As a church community, we are part of the Mennonite Brethren Church of Manitoba and the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. We are in alignment with the Canadian Mennonite Brethren Confession of Faith. The Confession can be found here: The MB Confession of Faith. We also partner with Multiply, the church-planting & mission arm of the conference.
